Getting Started in 3 Steps

Complete Your Profile

Your profile powers every application. Complete it once and the extension will securely auto‑fill forms and tailor cover letters.

Privacy first: Your personal information is only used to fill job application forms when you apply. We never share or sell your data. If you delete these details from your profile, they are immediately removed from our system with no traces left.

Go to Dashboard › Profile
Fill the form
- important : Name, Phone, Date of Birth, Gender, Address
- optional : Languages, Education, Certifications, Job History

How do I add Languages, Education, etc.?

Click button in the relevant section
Complete all fields before saving or adding another section
Click button to validate the fields and update your profile

What does each section power?

Personal Info → Name, phone, and email in all applications
Address → Postal/ZIP filters & relocation questions
Languages → Language fields + AI cover letter accuracy
Education → Degree/certification fields
Job History → ATS keyword matching & experience sections

Upload Your Documents

Store once, use everywhere. Use your documents in all automatic Indeed/LinkedIn applications — no need to attach them each time.

Privacy first: All documents are stored securely, and only transmitted when you click Apply. You can delete any file anytime, which leaves no traces.

How to Upload

Go to Dashboard › Documents
Click Browse or drag & drop your résumé and cover letter files.
If uploading a DOC/DOCX cover letter, keep placeholders like {{ company }} so our AI can tailor it.
(Optional) Add extra supporting documents if your plan allows.
Click Save — look for the green confirmation message.

Documents for Indeed/LinkedIn auto-apply

These files are uploaded only when the extension performs an auto-apply on Indeed or LinkedIn.

Upload type	Description

TAILORED	Keeps your original style. Replaces placeholders like [title], [company], and may lightly refine phrasing to fit the posting.

Tip: For best results, upload your résumé as DOCX/PDF and your cover letter as DOCX.

Text-Based Cover Letter

Some sites like Indeed only provide a text box for cover letters. In that case, use the Text Cover Letter editor in your dashboard. Tailoring works the same way as with DOCX files.

FAQ

Why can’t my PDF cover letter be tailored?

PDFs are static — to enable tailoring, upload a DOC or DOCX version instead.

Does tailoring change my formatting?

No — fonts, spacing, and bullet styles are preserved. Only placeholder text is replaced.

What tailoring can change

When using DOC/DOCX, placeholders can be replaced automatically:
- [company], [job_title], [location], [title]
Phrases may be lightly adapted to highlight skills relevant to the posting.
PDFs cannot be tailored — they are sent exactly as uploaded.

Install and Use the Extension

Install our Chrome extension to apply with one click on job sites like Indeed and LinkedIn.

A) Install the extension

Go to Chrome Web Store page — opens in a new tab.
Click “Add to Chrome”, then confirm “Add Extension”. This installs the extension so it can help fill forms and attach your documents.
Click the puzzle icon in Chrome, find “Job Applier AI”, and pin it for quick access.

B) Connect and keep it active

Click the pinned extension icon to open it for the first time.
Log in with your account. Your dashboard will open in a new tab.
Keep the dashboard tab open (background or minimized) while you apply. If you close it, you’ll need to log in again.

FAQ

Why are permissions needed?

The extension only accesses job application pages — to fill out forms and upload your documents.
It does not track your browsing. Your information is only sent when you click “Apply”.
No browsing history is collected — your privacy remains protected.

Automation Modes

Watch how each mode works, then pick one below to preview it.

Auto-Fill: maps visible fields to your profile across many sites.

Auto-Fill: Works on most websites, but some fields may not fill perfectly—it depends on how each site coded its form. This mode fills visible fields (like personal info, job history, skills) from your profile. Automatic uploads for résumé/cover letter/additional documents are planned; for now it focuses on form fields (similar to a smarter browser autofill).

Indeed: From the job results list, choose a job card and run Auto Apply (Easy Apply jobs only). TheJobApplier will open a new tab, go through the pages, upload your résumé, tailor & attach your cover letter, attach extra documents when requested, and stop on the final screen. We do not submit—you stay in control and review before clicking Apply.

LinkedIn: From the job results list, choose a job card and run Auto Apply (Easy Apply jobs only). Heads up

Important

You can stop the auto-process at any moment on Indeed/LinkedIn by opening the extension and clicking Stop.
After finishing an apply flow, the Stop button may still be visible. Click it once before starting another job.
If the Apply button on a job card doesn’t start the flow, refresh the page and close/reopen the extension panel (click outside the panel to dismiss it).

Is my data secure?

Yes. Profile data and documents stays in your account and are transmitted only when you apply.

Why is a field left blank in Auto-Fill?

Some sites use unusual widgets or labels. Send us the URL and we’ll add mapping within a week.

Can I disable AI cover-letter tailoring?

Yes—upload a PDF instead of DOCX and the system skips tailoring.
